The Rules

  1. You must be 21+ to attend any event with The Play.
  2. The Play is a private membership community. Participation is a privilege, not a right.
  3. The Play reserves the right to remove members without cause at our discretion.
  4. All members must sign our Code of Conduct and agree to abide by its rules. In the event of any conflict or ambiguity, the Code of Conduct governs.
  5. These rules apply to all The Play events, spaces, and community interactions, both in person and online.
  6. All consent rules apply to The Play network and any events organized by The Play.
  7. All play party attendees must attend the consent talk and abide by its rules.
  8. Consent cannot be given while intoxicated. If you show signs of over-intoxication, you may be asked to leave. Determinations of intoxication are made at the discretion of the Health & Safety team.
  9. A Health & Safety team is available at all play party events. Hosts, staff, and the Health & Safety team have final authority on safety decisions and rule enforcement.
  10. All members are expected to self-regulate, know their limits, and participate in ways that support both their own safety and the safety of the community.
  11. All members must agree to report inappropriate behavior to the Health & Safety team during events, or through our incident report form after events or for digital incidents.
  12. In the event an incident report is filed, all parties involved must engage with the investigation process or they forfeit membership.
  13. Investigations may lead to education, warnings, suspensions, or membership removal, at the discretion of The Play.
  14. Community safety takes precedence over individual desires or expectations.
  15. In the event you are asked by the hosts to leave an event, you agree to do so immediately. Removal for safety reasons does not entitle a member to a refund or explanation.
  16. No cell phones are allowed. The host will store and secure your phone before entry.
  17. No smart glasses are allowed.
  18. No photos, videos, or recordings are permitted at play parties or workshops other than those conducted by our hired staff. Violations of privacy or recording rules may result in immediate removal and permanent loss of membership.
  19. Written consent is obtained by The Play prior to sharing photos or videos across any of our media platforms.
  20. All members must sign a non-disclosure agreement and respect the privacy of all members, staff, and organizers of The Play.
  21. All members agree not to disclose any information about The Play, its members, or its employees to any media.
  22. All guests must submit an STI test with negative results administered within 90 days of the play party they are attending.
  23. No illegal substances are allowed.
  24. No weapons are allowed.
  25. No paid services or financial exchanges are allowed.
  26. Rooms must remain open and unlocked at all times.
  27. Members may bring their own pleasure products for play. You are responsible for your belongings.
  28. All members are responsible for their own health and wellness.
  29. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for general admission.
  30. Members of The Play Network may exchange one (1) ticket per year, valid for a six (6) month period after the missed event.
